CORALIA 

RIVERA

Coralia Rivera Avila is at the heart of MALINCHE TRANSLATIONS.

​

With several years of experience in translation and interpretation, Coralia started MALINCHE TRANSLATIONS in 2010. During her more than 15 years doing what she passionately loves, she has worked with private companies, government agencies, international corporations, NGOs, etc. This has given her a wide experience with international and national customers.  

​

Originally from El Salvador, she has been living in Guatemala for the last 39 years. Avid traveler, educated in Paris and New York, she combines her international experience and passion and applies it to her work with her customers.

Coralia is a Sworn Translator in English - Spanish - English. She has also completed the following courses and certifications:

  • ESTI Interpretation Course, Guatemala. 2005

  • Interpretation refresher course taught by Chang-Castillo and Associates, Managua, Nicaragua. 2016

  • Webinars on remote simultaneous interpretation, InterpretAmerica. 2020
